And her [promised] husband Joseph, being a just and upright man and not willing to expose her publicly and to shame and disgrace her, decided to repudiate and dismiss (divorce) her quietly and secretly. (1:19 KJV)
. . . Fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. (1:20)
. . . we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. (2:2)
. . . the star which had been seen in the east in its rising went before them until it came and stood over the place where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they were thrilled with ecstatic joy. (2:9-10)
And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. (2:12) - because Herod ordered the slaughtering of all male-born infants after hearing of Jesus' birth
But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying: "Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life." (2:19-20)
And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, "He shall be called a Nazarene". (2:23)

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. (3:12)
"Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness." (3:15) - Knowing who Jesus was when he went to be baptized by John, and that Jesus was without sin, John was reluctant to wash him of any, but Jesus says to do it anyway-for the sake of the crowd perhaps.
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him. And lo a voice from heaven saying: "This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased." (3:16-17)
"It is written: 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.'" (4:4) - I will be writing a book on fasting which will explain this in further detail.

. . . "Get thee hence Satan: for it is written: 'Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.'" (4:10)

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, "Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand". (4:17) - Jesus' first words: repent!
